This is to announced to the general public that the Kogi state university Admission screening 2016/2017 exercise has commenced. 

This is to inform all prospective UTME candidates who applied for admission into Kogi State University, Anyigba for the 2016/2017 Academic Session that Admission screening will take place between Monday, 26th September, 2016 to Wednesday, 12th October, 2016. The admission screening will be purely interactive. Registration Closes on the Wednesday, 14th September, 2016 at midnight

   The Vice Chancellor, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Professor Saminu Abdullahi Ibrahim has said that all arrangement and structures for the takeoff of the newly approved College of Medical sciences at the Permanent site of University Gubi campus has been completed.  

The vice chancellor stated this while delivering his speech during the convocation ceremony of the University held at the Yelwa Campus in Bauchi.

He explained that the Phase 1 and II of the College have been completed, furnished and equipped.
According to him, with the appointment of the Provost and other staff, the College of Medical Sciences has technically taken off.
“We are just awaiting the resource verification visit by the National University Commission (NUC) before we admit our pioneer medical students” Ibrahim said.
He however said, they have already commenced a project that includes a complete new six and a half kilometer reticulation of the campus to address the long standing water supply challenge at Yelwa Campus.
A total of 8127 graduants made up of 847 for Diplomas, 5,577 for first degrees,1620 for PGD/Masters and 85 for PhD’s, 32 obtained first class,1203 second class upper, 2702 second class lower,1481 third class, and 136 got pass.
